    Seeing passengers in a hotel

    I have been doing longhaul flights recently which just create a whole new kind of SC.

    After a 9 hour flight we landed safely somewhere in Canada. Very nice it was too. What was not nice was my experience at the breakfast buffet in our very nice hotel downtown. Some of the passengers were at our hotel!

    The comments included:

    "Oh you don't go straight back?"
    "Oh YOU stay here then?"
    "How do I check in for my next flight?"
    "Why was the food so crap?"
    "Can you get me a cup of tea?"

    Luckily the server saw I was being harrased and kindly offered to send up my breakfast to my room, all for free.

    I had less than 24 hours there and wanted SC free time! I wasn't being paid to be nice to them.
    No longer a flight atttendant!

        Just out of curiosity, were you in civvies or your work uniform? Either way, yeah, they were out of line, since you were obviously not at work, but if you were in ordinary clothes, that's even more sucky on their part.

        Kudos to the server for helping you.

            Seriously! I would have laughed in their face, chosen a few appropriate curses to sling their way and walked away. The nerve of some people. If that had been me, I would not have been as calm as you.
