This Was NOT In My Job Description!

I had my worst moment ever (so far) at work yesterday!

I am the manager of a variety store, and yesterday someone decided to take a s**t on the floor in the toy section.

Guess who got the "pleasure" of cleaning it up!

How can someone be so gross and disgusting?

"Tell her [Manager] Hell no. I'm not cleaning that up!"

I get paid waay too little to do that kind of work, not to mention it's a biohazard to me and I am 5 days from shipping out.

We get this all the time in our dressing rooms. I typically get picked becuase I am the man and the ladies know my sense of chivaly(sp) won't allow them to do it. Although some of them clean it up anyway without ever telling me.

I'd flat out refuse. Its not in your job description and you can even say you're not paid or trained to do biohazard work.
I have a line. Cleaning up feces for minimum wage crosses it.

I had to do that when I worked at *grocerystore* 9 years ago. Some older guy was in line and had the squirts on the floor, some lady rolled her cart through it AND steped in it. I had to clean the floor, the wheels on her cart and her shoe, not to mention the trail to the restroom. We had to call someone to come and get him and bring him new clothes.
