Tonight was the yuckiest fucking night in recent months.

I ring him up and as he is getting his payment ready C2 asks to see the phone again so I hold it up and he snatches from my hand...

Me Sir you can not walk off with that you need to hand it back.
C2 Do you sell the cards up here?
Me Sir we do not sell boost cards up front. But I need you to hand the phone back to me please.
C2 So there is no cards up here.
Me no sir. You need to give me the phone please.

C2 then decides to bolt for the exit. I automatically run after the guy but stop short of chasing him out the door.
I page for management to let them know what happened. I finish the transaction for C1, apologizing. He tells me that I was brave to run after the guy and that he hopes my day gets better. I wasn't brave I was stupid and ran after the guy without thinking. I am 4mo pregnant so everyone on shift frumpped at me for being a dumbass. Sadly the rest of my night went shitty.

It just pissed me off that a guy stood in my line then ripped off a boost phone which doesn't even work till activated and no store will take it back without a receipt. I don't know why I ran after the fucktwit there wasnt anything that I could do, it just really irked me that he stole a phone. So now I wait to see if I am going to get my ass yelled at by LP for being stupid... *sighs*

I worked in retail long enough and read enough posts here to know there's a manager, probably even in your own store, that's spineless enough to take it back without a receipt.

I worked with a lady who was far into her 2nd trimester who got inbetween two guys from a wedding parting staying at the hotel who were fighting. A lady asked her if she was pregnanat, and she told her yes, and then that lady became more concerned then my pregnant co-worker. lol It was her 4th kid, so I guess she felt pleanty confident.
