I'm frightened. Why can't little girls stay little girls?
It is a terrible thing to see and have no vision.

I've been asking myself that question for the last twenty years.

I had to explain to a mother one time just what a "Juicy" (exotic dancer) was and why it was a bad idea for her 12 year-old to wear that across her butt.

I think you're mistaken on that one. I've never heard of "juicy" being used as a slang term for a stripper before. The Urban Dictionary doesn't have it listed, either.

However, I HAVE heard of the brand name, "Juicy Couture," a line of women's clothing, which often brands its clothing products with JUST the word, "juicy."

I always figured "Juicy" was a slang adjective for a voluptous tushie.

I remember awhile back a clothing company in England I think got in some hot water for marketing lingerie to 9 year olds.

Abercrombie and Fitch made kid's thongs for a while, until public outcry made them stop it. Good enough- kids don't need sexualized lingerie marketed to them.

I'm just filling in the blanks here; let me know if this seems out of line.

                  1. Parents: Divorced.
                  2. Custody: Daddy.
                  3. Mommy: Wants to be junior's "best friend."
                  4. Purchase = revenge. Alt: Kids asked Daddy, Daddy said no.

                  Too crazy?
