  • Eww, disgusting

Here's an email we received at corporate a few days ago (only the first and last name have been changed to protect the innocent). Some people just have no shame in relating other people's problems to complete strangers. I don't have proof that her husband cared, but I know enough about bitches to know that he wouldn't have been happy to have his name bandied about. I hope the manager that had to listen to her didn't have a weak stomach.

"Because of the amount of sodium in our meal today, we had suffer extreme indigestion for the entire evening. My reason for calling the restaurant's manager was to advise her of my husband _____'s explosive diarrhea upon returning home."

    Nice!

Was that even necessary? I mean, she could've simply said "illness" rather than be graphic.

I'd be mortified, if that was me.

It absolutely was necessary! She just had to get across how terrible the problem was or how else would the manager feel bad enough about it to give her whatever it was that she was wanting in compensation? Speshul people are like that, you know.

Although I never would have thought of blaming salt for causing "the illness". E. coli on the lettuce or something, maybe, but not salt.

I'm no medical expert, but I've never heard of too much salt giving a person the runny-runnies.

Either she made the whole thing up or she's misdiagnosed the cause of her hubbie's...uhhh, problem.

I bet it was something of an over exaggeration.
