You generally do make more money off repeat business over the long term. I think you or your management would have been more than willing to work with her if she hadn't been such a bitch.

I would hope if she had called and said some thing like, "I am trying to locate a vacation property with XXX characteristics, can you tell me what type of deals you can give me for the Month of X?", it would have been easier for you to work with her.

I am sure you have some type of customer relationship tracking in place that tells you who you have long term profitable (note the profitablity quotient in this important) relationships with and you are cultivating those relationships with value discounts when you are able.

What your customers don't seem to realize is that you don't really set the prices, the owners do, you seem to be more of a brokerage firm. The middle man so to speak.
