annoying library customer

*I don't think this woman was purposely trying to be sucky/annoying, I just wasn't in the mood to deal with it yesterday*

To give some background info, my library gets certain groups of people who are bad about clustering around tables in the children's area, accumlating huge stacks of books, and it's impossible to tell what they are/aren't using until they leave. (not getting into further detail because that'd be going into Fratching territory)

Anyhow, we had one of those groups in the library yesterday, and I had some woman ask if I could clear stuff off one of the tables so her granddaughter could sit and do her homework....she wasn't really snarky about it, but it WAS annoying because I also got the impression that she wanted me to ask the other people sitting near that table to leave so the girl had more room, and that she was thinking staff wasn't doing our jobs as far as cleaning up messes. (which was NOT true, but there's no in cleaning up things when the people in the children's room are just going to mess it up again)

Luckily we have enough tables, but most people are too timid to ask us to ask other people to share space.

But I can imagine how annoying it it when an EW wants other people to move so they can use stuff. Get there first, then, next time.
