I've been with groups that would camp out at a restaurant.

Of course, we'd never stay past closing, we wouldn't stay longer than it took to eat if it was busy, we'd all be ordering food, and we usually tipped around 20%.

I only worked in a kitchen for a few weeks, and most of that time was spent as just making dough. However, campers were the bane of my CWs existence. I would be opening with them on a Tuesday and they'd tell me how they had to stay until 1am because a bunch of people hung around until midnight. Since the kitchen was supposed to close at 11, i could never understand how this happened.

How can one confuse a liver with any other part of of the cow? It's a bloody, damn liver!

There was a restaurant that we used to go to a lot. We went often enough that most of the staff knew us. My parents always ordered the special, which came with dessert. Now more often than not, the waitress would ask my parents if they wanted their dessert and run off before I could order. I usually would just order when she came back. Now one day the girl dropped off the desserts so quickly I couldn't ask for anything. So I spent a few minutes trying to flag her down. She would walk by the table, give us a look, and keep going. She took my parents dessert dishes and got them fresh coffee, but ignored me everytime I said excuse me.

Finally the owner came out with the girl following behind her. The owner turned to me and said;
Owner= Hina did you want a dessert?
Me= Chocolate cake please. *looks at the clock* In a take away box I guess.
Owner= Alright sweetie.

Oddly enough, never saw that one waitress at the restaurant after that.

Liver guy reminds me of Gammon Guy from where I used to work, he sent back an almost whole Gammon Steak....complaining that it was.....salty!

I will sometimes stay after my meal is over and chat with friend or date but I have rules that apply to this behavior.

Rule 1: Two Sodas Rule
You should only stay as long as it takes to drink two more glasses of soda.

Rule 2: No tables
If the restaurant is busy and there are people waiting for seats then rule 1 is null and void and you should vacate.

Rule 3: Closing Time ( Rule does not apply in case of 24 hour restaurant)
Unless told otherwise you will vacate as close to closing time as possible preferablly before not after. These are human beings who have lives.

Anyway those are my rules related to camping I have some other personal codes of behavior that I force my friends and family to follow when they are eating out with me but they aren't pertinent to this thread and I don't wanna thread jack.
