My old hotel would call the police if we smelled pot from inside the room, regardless of whether other guests complained or not.

Once we had a whole flight crew that had to be walked because the hallway their rooms were in smelled of pot (they couldn't stay in those rooms and we were full because the exposure could cause them to fail drug screening). The culprits were of course taken away by police

We'll contact the police when we find things like heroin or meth. Not pot, though. Unless it's a supplier, they don't seem to care about the dopers in this town.

Not decriminalized (not yet). Mainly it's because we're right by the Canadian border and get a lot of big shipments smuggled through here, so they're busy looking for the bigger fish to fry.
