    I'm the eldest sister, actually, with one little sister I don't really speak to. LONG story. And thanks ^^;;

You look good and certainly no more than one or two weeks pregnant .

People are idiots. (no one here, of course people who assume preggers are idiots)

I read and article a few years back...this gal was always getting the "Are you pregnant" question....she never was, she just had a slightly rounded tummy. It was the fact she rested her hand on said tummy that lead people to think she was with child.

        Still no excuse.

If someone tried to touch my stomach....I would turn to evil Cat.....I have no problem hissing and growling at people in public.

You just look like a completely normal, non-pregnant person.

            You look gorgeous *steals shirt*
You can get some lovely tailored shirts that, while skimming your waist, don't make the girls POP OUT (if you know what I mean). Being chestily advantaged myself, I've actually found that scoop necked shirts with a tailored waist makes me look slimmer all around.

But wouldn't that mean it should be worse when I'm wearing the more closely fitting CVS shirts?
As a large woman, I find that tighter fitting clothing actually makes me look skinnier.

Edit: Found a shot that should work.

You do, however, look eerily like my baby sister, just to toss out something completely random.

...you look exactly like a friend of mine, except older. Does your little sister by any chance live in Philly?

                *re-steals blouse* That's a great color.

Any empire waist blouse or dress will make you look like you have a larger belly than you do, unless your belly is really out there. I like to wear them because I have more belly than I like and I have enough chest that they end up being very flattering to me.

I'm not sure if it's the way you're posing or something in the clothes, but it does look like your posture might have a little to do with it. I'd really have to see you standing naturally from the side to be certain, however.

I don't care if someone's belly looks like a basketball. It's NOT okay to talk to people this way.

I wish that more companions/friends of people who do this would step up and be Men/Women.

I'm hoping this doesn't make me sound like a pig. I'm trying to express things diplomatically and am failing in my head.
As someone who can be very diplomatic, but can also very much be a pig, I have to tell you that you expressed things very diplomatically, and didn't fail at all. Don't underestimate yourself so much.

It's probably your shirt. I got a job in a grocery store and had to wear a shirt meant for an adult man for the first few weeks until I could get a proper uniform; I remember a lot of little worms thought it would be appropriate to ask if I was pregnant.

Keep in mind that I was sixteen/seventeen, short, and looked MUCH younger. So I feel you.

I believe Dear Prudence answers this question in one of her columns---you don't have to ignore this treatment. You're allowed to say that its none of their business and they shouldn't be asking. I vote you do it.

According to management, that would be rude to the customers. So I have to pretty much just say I'm not. Can't correct them. -.-
