Catholic schools aren't exactly cheap. Even at preschool level.

That being said, on a slightly more disturbing note, when I did some work experience at a daycare (you do 1 week in Year 10 and then if you do another class in Year 12, you can do more work experience-that one I did at an Anglican school), there was a 2-year-old girl who grew up on a farm. Your boss lacks a spine. Instead of moving you to a different department/classroom/work area/what have you, he/she should have told the religious asshat something along the lines of "Tough shit! Religious preference isn't violating any laws. If you don't want your child here, you're welcome to take him/her elsewhere." And that would be the end of it.

Religion isn't an appropriate subject to discuss at a place of business and it can lead to HR issues and/or lawsuits.

Don't be ashamed of your religion. That's your right and your choice. Stand up for yourself.

God, I hate people like that (not religious people, just REALLY religious people who try to force their ideals on you or look down on you because you don't do EXACTLY as they do.) God forbid (pun intended) that her child's daycare teacher not be religious. It also irks me that she freaked when she asked if you were muslim too. My boyfriend is muslim and it definitely hurts whenever someone freaks out about it. It's just another religion. Christians, Jews, and Muslims all come from the same area and guy, Abraham. He is noted to be the father of all three religions.
So what if you don't practice any religion. It's none of her damn buisness. It should be a plus actually, since you won't have anything to the teach to the kids religion wise. Besides, no matter what religion you are, you'll find that one parent who'll disagree and flip out just the same. I understand that that is what you believe, but if I don't believe in it, I don't want to hear it. I went through 13 years of catholic school and switched to Wicca in junior high. No one cared! It's really no big deal, so please stop freaking out about it!! People base their decisions souly on their religion are little creepy to me (unless it's for the good of yourself and others). Especially when it's hypocrits doing it.

Every time someone I don't want to discuss religion with asks me, I just say that religion is very private to me and I don't discuss it. For most people, that's good enough. Except the two (and only) times I told some religion-pusher that, in which case, both times, they flipped out and acted very un-Christian.

I actually am religious, deeply so, but most people would never know because I don't do church and I don't do rituals, so there aren't really any clues to go by.

Well, because she's annoying the daylights out of at least one person who works there. For me, that is a good enough reason. If she has classes in college, she isn't that starved for adult interaction.

I know I am evil, but is there any chance a different parent might be persuaded to complain about SuperMom always being there? If they always do what the parents want, and two different parents want opposite things, it should at least make for a few good chuckles! A girl can dream.

Loneliness maybe? My wife is a stay-at-home mum to my two baby daughters, and sometimes she gets very lonely for conversation. If money isn't a problem, why not?

I don't know! From what I've deciphered from her nonsensical babbling, shes a student at the campus and has class til noon. She takes the bus to-and-from with the twins. The center opens at 9. So, she drops them off at 9, comes in at noon, and stays there til 5:30. I would wanna leave around 1 so I wouldn't have a packed bus with grumpy twins, but thats just me... what do I know?

Me either. As someone who had no choice but to put their child in daycare (his mother ran out when he was 2 1/2), I know that daycare isn't cheap. Why pay for it and then not use it?

Omg Sheldonrs, I have that on my MP3 player. XD I love it. Next time anyone asks me about my religion they are just getting ignored. So much hell over something that should be private to someone, should they be upset at my sleeping habits too?

Why did they move me to a different class? I don't know, maybe to keep drama levels low? Avoid the problem, not fix it I suppose.

If a parent demands something, it usually gets done around here I'm finding out. Its slowly getting on my nerves. In the infant room, we have a set of twins right now. The parents (of any child) are free to come visit or, in the case of the infants, breast feed them. The mother of the twins however, will come and stay all. day. long. Why? She wants to. Its very hard to DO MY JOB WITH YOU STANDING IN MY WAY LADY AND BUTTING IN ON EVERYTHING I DO. YES I KNOW YOU DON'T NEED GLOVES TO CHANGE YOUR KIDS DIAPERS, THANKS FOR THE INPUT. *puts down baby swing* *brushes hair back* Ahem. I told my boss that its hard to work when shes there from noon to close, but she insists its fine that she stays all day. x.x;

The kids are the best though, its like they know exactly what to do to make everything right again. Most of them at least. Some of them need some hardcore time-out. I wasn't working the picture day shift and I was a very sad Bugged when I found out I wasn't allowed to have the class picture of the kids I work with like the other teachers. ; ;
