I was working overnight last night, at the Golden Arches, when a drunken customer comes in. He takes ten minutes to order one combo, and I had to remind him to pay (so far so good ). The kitchen was backed up, so the food took a while.

Drunken Customer: The food's taking long to come.

Me: Sorry about that, the kitchen is backed up.

DC: (said in a dialect, which I also speak): A so you take long fi come?

The worst part? He was accosting other customers and the manager stood by and did nothing

if this happened at the bar i worked at while i was on shift the drunken customer would suddenly and instantaniously wonder why he's tasting gravel.

Your manager is in desperate need of a spine. It is part of the job to protect employees and customers from abusive customers.
