Well, I actually "talked back" to a customer today.
I'm working the smokeshop (the tobacco line for you non-malmart people) when a guy comes through my line, and tries to buy himself some smokes.
TELLS me his birthday. I ask for ID. He gets huffy and I add "Unless you have about 5 grand for my court costs."
I don't know what came over me.

I said something similar to someone the other day - they were wanting to buy some lighters and they were underage, so I refused the sale and some old woman jumped in and said "I'LL buy them for him!" and again I refused so they both started shouting at me.
Eventually I lost it and said "FINE, I'll sell them to you if you both agree to pay my fine and my wages until I find another job once they sack me from this one, and YOU *to the old hag* accept that you're gonna face charges for supplying a minor!"
