Several miles west of where I work is a street that crosses the street our address is on. It's usally this street that gets its name mangled, and not the street that's the subject of our story.
The street in question is Havana. The lady on the phone was asking for directions and said she was at XXX and Ha, um how do you say it, HAVE-a-nuh? I tried to correct her, but she kept saying it wrong through out the call.

Even worse, when he started correcting the *locals* to pronounce it that way, and then refusing to believe the rest of us (who have lived here for years) that it's not pronounced "Bomb." Never mind that a certain Dodge dealer said their address about 52 times per commercial...we were all wrong
