  • Temper temper.....

It's Back to School, so of course it's busy. The vast majority of people expect and understand this and don't complain.

But apparently one guy today felt differently. We had ALL of our registers open, but he still felt it was taking too long. When it got to where he was the next person in line, he suddenly lost his patience and SLAMMED everything he was about to buy on the floor and stormed out.

I didn't see this happen but The Don told me right after. He was laughing at how much of an idiot the guy was.

    That made me giggle.

I wouldve laughed me ass off had I seen this in store.

I hope it put a smile on the cashiers face.

I'm so pissed off at this store that I'm going to forfeit my place in line and reduce the wait time for the people in back of me. That'll show them!

I'm picturing the guy going home empty handed and his wife bitching him out for not getting the school stuff. All because he had a temper tantrum that probably rivaled a child's, right Dave?

And now he's not getting any from his wife.

Well, judging from his tantrum, it sounds like he might be suffering from "lack-of" syndrome anyway.

And force himself to repeat the shopping process all over again at another store or another time, in which case he will be even more stressed because he has to wait in a long line again or because he procrastinated too long and can't get everything his kids need in time.

We have a lot of people leave the line when they are one or two from the front. I still don't get it - our lines are always longer then the wait time of coffee :S

This reminds me of a TV commercial the swamp used to run back in the day at BTS time.

It showed a woman window shopping at some boutique or something, taking in a movie, and then leisurely browsing the aisles at a clearance swamp store. Then she arrived home with her purchases, messed up her hair and her clothes, and told her family "You have no idea what I've just been through."

The message was BTS shopping at the swamp is easy and convenient. Of course, this is a total lie.

Back to the OP--that's a special kind of stupid that guy showed there. Now he's got to do the back to school shopping again, someplace where it may be even more batshit crazy.

Got a little more information about this one. The guy was buying paper and toner, and had his wife with him. His wife was highly embarrassed but picked up the items and paid for them.

Makes me wonder if perhaps it was the same idiot from this thread.
