A woman came up to my co worker after running "her disabled mother in laws" credit card in the atm. Now, if you do NOT put a pin in and do credit it will send you up to the cage to verify who you are and make sure you ARE the card holder, no exceptions.
Well, apparently this woman didn't have her ID and the card wasn't hers. She made up a lame excuse by saying it was her mother inlaw who is up in her room and disabled and unable to come down herself. We've had actual cases where it is true BUT there are rules and they are not to be broken.
CW told her unless her mother in law was here there was nothing we could do. And the girl didn't have her own ID on her...
Later, it was discovered this girl stole a whole purse of some old lady at another casino. Get this... She stayed around TWO hours after coming up to the cage (the cops were already at our casino and had to talk to my CW and fill out a form, etc)
to go to.... (enter fast food restaurant here!) But she again got denied because she got carded at the fast food place!
I was shocked that the place even cared to match a name to the credit card, usually they don't give a shit.
Who in their right mind would stick around with a stolen credit card and after being rejected once, try again at a FAST food place inside of the SAME casino!??! A dumb bitch, that's who. To my knowledge regardless of how stupid she is, they haven't caught her yet. Hmmm....
