and i only worked 4 hrs.

I didnt get a chance to write this yesterday.

I went into work at 7am to work service desk.

First off it was a mess from the night crew. So i was busy doing that than a bitch of a woman came over and demanded i check her out b/c she is in a hurry(you know the kind)
Well i look in her basket and see that she has all weighable stuff. I tell her that i am sorry but i have no scale here.

Bitch-Than i want you NO i demand you open a register and check me out
Me-I am sorry i am here i cant go open another register
Bitch- But I am in a hurry i have a family at home waiting for me.
-at this time a another lady walks up(nice lady)
Me- I cant check you out here You need to go to a register.
Bitch-Why does noone want to help me?? I am better tha everyone here. (wait for it) I HAVE A REAL JOB. I have a nice house and I have a great family waiting for me. I am not a low life like you and eveyone that works here. Its not like you guys have a family anyway and if you do its not like they love you guys anyway. Your nothing but losers

About 20 mins later a guy walks up and wants to know why we only have a few regs open. I tell him seeing is how its a holiday we are only working 4 hrs so we can spend time w/ our family. He did not like this. Again i was told how we cant have families and how we dont deserve to have special treatment.

A little later i see him walking past with his wife and he said that lady says they are all working 4 hrs so they can spend time w/ family. His wife looked confused and said i never pictured these kind of people having a family. i thought they all lived here....oh well

-I got soooo many calls about the blackfriday sale. I was ready to break the phone.
-No you cant get the sale items today
-even if you have to work at midnight
-Yes we will price match but you need the ad
-No i have no idea where certain item are and no i have no idea how many we have.

My mom retired from Sears several years ago after working for them for almost 25 years. I told her about this post. She told me about a particular customer who was very abusive to her. She had to get a manager to handle the situation.

The manager came over & told the customer he had to apologize to my mom before he received any service.

I am not sure what shocks me more about what she said:
1) That she actually held such a belief.
2) That she had the audacity to articulate it to the the very people about whom she believed it.
3) That she was stupid enough to think that saying something so rude and nasty would make the recipient willing to do whatever she was demanding.

I'm shocked they really believe job has anything to do with family. Two separate entities. And they are like 6-year-olds. Kids that age see their teachers outside school and are shocked. Is nobody capable of understanding anything outside of their own limited experience anymore?! Look honey, there are six billion people on this planet. That ranks right up there with the woman who came in on Thanksgiving and bought a newspaper after wandering around for 25 minutes and proceeded to complain about how horrible that it was that we were open and that it wasn't fair that we had to work on the holiday. I did not wait on her because I don't think I could have been nearly as nice as my coworker was.
