That reminds me of a post from a similar site to this.

Some woman had shit in a cubbyhole outside the store, and tried to blow it away with a leafblower.

She was, I think, fired for it.

Technically she didn't work at the place, she was part of a company hired to clean the place.

But yeah, she did that.

Giant blood pool in the hotel room once from me (ruined the bed, a few pillows and probably the mattress), Boyfriend left a note apologizing and offered to pay for the cost. The housekeeper refused it but I still felt horrible. What else could I do?

The fact that you apologized, offered to pay for damages (and obviously didn't do it on purpose) shows that you were truly sorry. Customers who make a mess and are genuinely apologetic are usually shown more leniency than those who make a mess and demand you to clean it up. Decency and humbleness make a lot more friends than arrogance and viciousness.
