Quoth Goddess of Retail View Post

To Blas= Is there really an article about being a retail-demon? In Cosmo? Wha?
In between "How to drive him crazy with his own bowling ball and dirty socks" and "Are you attractive enough to get laid? The answer, no, is on page 68."

I'll bet she's the bitch who wrote the infamous article in Cosmo about getting a refund without a receipt and how to "handle" a clerk who says no. Either that or her sister.

So many levels of fail there. I feel very sorry for her son; he seems like a nice kid, but she's well on her way to warping him into an EW.

I hate those "consumer experts" that advise people to do this kind of thing. Absolutely ridiculous.
That's just sad and wrong on all levels on what that Sucky Lady was teaching her kid. Glad she got pwnd and I hope the door hit her on the ass on the way out!

Goddess, head over to Sightings and see the thread "Get a refund without a receipt", it's a tad old but it's an exerpt from an issue of Cosmo, explaining how to scam a store pretty much.
Is this the article you're thinking of?
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

Huh, I dunno, I find it hard to call either of those games "rocking" . . . I haven't played them but people who HAVE played it and the original CRPG "Baldur's Gate" said it was decent but nothing special.

Oh, by the way, you are a store doing miniatures, and video games . . . if you do tabletop RPGs as well I'm going to have to move there. Your staff sounds really like one of the stores I used to frequently live in (and lose my paycheck in) when I had just gotten out of high school. They were rather cool, and the owner wouldn't hesitate to ask people not to come back if they were mistreating the staff. (Partly because the staff worked there due to loving the place and hobby rather than for the pay.)

Believe it or not, our local one does still have some on the shelves. Not many, true, but some.
