  • Why must they lie?

    Dear SC,

Why must you lie? We share information with the tax people, we will find out! I don't care if it is tips or cash, the person paying will tell the irs because they are afraid of the tax people. Even I am afraid of the tax people, and they have always been fairly nice to me. When you make me talk to them even more I will be mad. It is very difficult to NEVER mention certain things (like buying off of amazon - did you know you are supposed to report and pay taxes on that? yeah, I don't either.)

Just because we here at the money-giving-office have been busy means certain areas that are more difficult to check were not carefully gone over, so if you mention the employer we don't notice that you are only reporting a small percentage of the wages. i hate you because you just made me go back through 111 (yes, one hundred and eleven) weeks doing complicated math and spreadsheets in three different ways (there are three types... just go with it) only to have to sit at a computer for hours fixing all of the bad information you gave us each and every week. Not one single week was correct! Besides the thousands of dollars you owe us, I really did not want to do that. Imagine all of those precious hours of my life that I can't get back. Imagine all the people who actually need me that will now have to wait to get my help. Imagine my hourly rate of pay being sucked out of the tax payer's pockets to fix your stupidity.

BTW, you suck at lying. Just stop trying. It is pointless once you are caught and only makes you sound more pathetic. It is even worse now because I know you have no income currently. I already hated you prior to calling because I already have the info to make it clear that my worst nightmeres have come true. Your lies are weak against the Jedi-like powers of the IRS.

I will send you the bill.

That is all. you may go about your business and never darken my computer screen again.

Because if they tell the truth they will explode. Seriously. because part of the truth is what a jerkwad loser they are.

I just noticed that i made the IRS have jedi-like powers... I somehow feel it would be more appropos to equate their powers to the Sith! Any thoughts from a better fan than I?

You could always make the IRS the Yuuzhan Vong (or however it's spelled) -- that would make them *immune* to all forms of Jedi/Force powers and fancy mind tricks used by the taxpayers...^_^

And here I've been feeling bad because the family tax lady is going above and beyond for my idiocy. When my husband died I put the insurance money up to be managed by Smith Barney, and I haven't paid any taxes on dividends and stuff for 8 years. (Getting that all fixed up now though).

I still feel bad that she has to go through 8 years of various tax changes for me. I owe her SO many cookies.

zzapp -- SB should probably have at least been sending you notices to the effect of "here's the net gain you earned" at least yearly, to make such a process easier on you. If not, phooey on them ~_~ (yes, I am aware that tax agencies don't care whether you knew about it or not) --- kudos to you for dealing with it tho ^_^
