She's probably one of those people that think you just have to pay the balance, the rest of the money "doesn't count" and never really will ever need to be collected....

And in fact, now that you mention it, paying the balance isn't really needed either, because, how can there be a balance on money that doesn't exist?

So, you see, they really don't owe anyone any money at all? What's up with those crazy bills that keep coming? Don't they know how this works???

Guess her *air quote* jedi-mind trick didn't work on you.
This is not the loan payment you're looking for.

What a lunatic. Of course she backed down as soon as she realized the cops weren't buying her story. You should alert other branches to this woman. (if you can)

Even loonier are those that read about "debt elimination secrets" on the web somewhere. The gist of it goes like this: If you badly and deliberately mis-read the constitution, you can twist it around to decide that fractional reserve lending (the very bedrock of of a depository bank) is the equivalent of "creating" money. Since the bank "created" the money, and they aren't Congress, the money they lent you really didn't exist. Since it doesn't really exist, you don't have to pay it back. Of course, this is strangely not accompanied with strenuous efforts to recover the "fake" money from those it was paid to, and replaced with "real" money, whatever that is...

There are related ones about Federal Reserve Notes not being real money (not that that stopped them from accepting and spending them), etc. What a bunch of loons...

And he's so desperate, he's disguised himself as a woman. For shame.
              Pics or this didn't happen.

The only thing I can think of is that she signed one of those "live check" loans, where endorsing (and cashing) the check implies agreement to the loan terms, which are included in the same envelope.

I don't like them (do they even exist any more?), mainly for security reasons, but you'd have to have a negative IQ to think the bank was just giving you money for free.
Oh they still exist, I got one in the mail last week.

Ditto. I get them about once a month.
