Ahhhhh, Brings back memories, and not all good ones.
Have you had an OCD customer yet? We had to ban a lady after she brought back the same gallon of paint over a dozen times in one week because "it's not riiiiiiight".
The "Hit & Run" customers who drop a color and say "Make this" and then disappear before I could ask "Gallon? Inside? Outside? Flat? Satin? Semi-gloss?"
And I refused to make paint for phone customers after several notes with wrong information. Our computer could adjust for light sources; Incandescent, Fluorescent or Natural. And guess what? We had a color called Natural also.
The people who wanted me to fix other companies colors because they did not want to drive all the way back to OKC. I of course said No! Our computer is only programed for our paint line.
The people who would bring in that gallon of paint that has been in their garage since D-Day. I had one that burst the seam and covered the inside of the paint shaker. I took me all day to clean up that mess.
There was the guy who used Paint Stripper to remove his old paint, but got in such a hurry that he painted over the stripper. The new paint came off in large sheets.
The guy who bought like 6 gallons of Purple paint, I went to get him a basket, but no I can carry this! He got to the counter, tried to swing them up and lost all of them. I had a Purple blob 5 feet wide in the busiest part of the store. And even with me cleaning it up with trash cans, bags of kitty litter, mop buckets and such, I still had several people walk right through the paint and leave purple footprints all the way to the back of the store.
