Thur. the guy showed up, wanting to get into the library. The guard recognized him and told him that once you are arrested in the library, you are perma-banned. He was polite about it (not at all nasty) but he repeated himself about "I was just giving my friend a hug."
Now we just need more people to be banned, esp. the bad-smelling people.
Though this guy come up wanting a computer-use card. We are now requiring picture ids to give them out and he didn't have none. He wanted to talk to a supervisor and luckily security talked to him. Then the cop talked to him, and was leading him out. I asked security what was going on, and the guard said the guy was drunk, that he could tell he was drunk because he was breathing really hard outside in the heat. That sounded odd to me. The guy seemed a little mentally disabled and hard of hearing, but I didn't realize he was drunk.
