Thank goodness I didn't use the U-Scan. I'm lousy with those things, and I'm much more comfortable going to a register with a cashier anyway. So that's what I did. I paid with a debit card - my own debit card, and it's valid, and had sufficient funds, too. Amazing, isn't it?

And I left a two-dollar tip for the attendant. I felt she needed a pick-me-up. Or some coffee.
