I would have told him something like this:

Sir, we have no rooms. However, since you want to be stupid and insistent, tell ya what, I'll make you a deal.

I'll charge you the price of 1 room and you can sleep in your car in our parking lot. Check out is at noon otherwise the cops will ticket you for loitering.

If he gives me attitude or calls my offer stupid, I would have said:

You're acting stupid, so I gave you a stupid offer to match it. Take it or leave it.

as for no-show policies, the last time my bf rented a room the hotel's policy was to re-sell the room at 6pm or something like that.

we knew we wouldn't be in until almost 8 so we called ahead to tell them we'd be late. so it was no problem.


at least the SC wasn't trying to demand you kick people out of their rooms... although i'm sure he was thinking of it ...
