One joke I've heard is that when the Globe and Mail ("Canada's National Newspaper, but heavily Toronto-centric) wants to get the opinion of people in Western Canada, they send a reporter to Mississauga (western suburb of Toronto).

Actually, I10 is NOT the best thing to ever come out of Texas - I40 is. You have a choice of 2 directions, and it's a much shorter distance to the state line.

Texans boast about everything down there being big, but Hwy 17/417 across Ontario is more than 50% longer than I10 across Texas.

Did you hear about the SC who sued over false advertising because a restaurant served sliders as "Texas-sized hamburgers"? The judge from Alaska dismissed the case.

Texas is the only state to twice lose its claim to being the largest state in the U.S. - with one of those losses being to a smaller state.

Your health is more important than their attitudes. Next time (hopefully there never is a next one) explain that you are sick, in need of professional emergency care, and leave.

And here, all these years I figured when I saw someone in medical distress, I should apply first aid and call 911. It never occurred to me to berate them for failing to do their job. Man, had I have known that I never would have had to find coverage for a coworker at work. I'd just have told him to suck it the fark up and get back to his desk.
