We currently have soda on sale and there's a limit of 10 per customer. A woman came in my line with at least 20, so I politely informed her of the limit. She said there was no sign (sometimes there isn't out on the floor). I acknowleged that there may not be, but "we do have a sign posted at the service desk that states we have the right to limit quantities." I was firm, but polite and professional. I offered to bring up an extra cart so she could sort what she wanted. "Just let me know which ones you'd like to keep," I said with a smile. I was smiling because I knew she was ticked, but her suckiness wasn't gonna win. She proceeded to throw the ones she didn't want in the new cart, one by one tossed angrily. She was in her 30s, throwing a tantrum. I told the supervisor the story and found we'd been warned by the store acoss town 'cause she'd tried it there, complete with the tossing and crumpling the cardboard packs. Ha--shut down twice. When I cheerfully wished her a good day, her response was, "Umph, thanks." My company--2 SC-0

Nice job! I'm trying to be more confident in my job too. Tomorrow (I can't keep putting it off, lol) I have to call someone back and firmly tell her we do NOT owe her any more credit back from her purchases/returns so she can do whatever she feels is necessary with disputing it with her bank or whatever she pleases, but I'm done with her.
