Heh, back in college, there were only fifteen or so CS majors the first couple of years I was there, so we all knew each other. Occasionally, we'd go hang out at a movie, or something. One night, four of us had been out when a car full of local highschool kids cut us off. Our driver was a small, thin sort, and flipped them off. They took great umbrage at this, and followed us all the way to the dorm parking lot, yelling rude things and talking about how they were going to smack around our driver.

Now, I can only imagine that they were only looking at the driver, because when I (6'4", had been weight training) and another guy who was with us (6'0"-ish, my workout buddy most days) got out, they freaked out, and tried to back out to get away--right into the college security vehicle that had followed us in. As a bonus, the security officer that got out was one of my gaming buddies at the time.

I must have been living right.

So the kids got verbally assaulted, their parental units called, and banned from the campus. We got a good story to laugh about in the computer lab the next day.

First off, sorry for the lack of posts over the past few days. I've been feeling pretty shitty and have been working myself to death which didn't help matters. My days were spent working, trying to remain conscious and semi-alert and laying in bed in a daze. I haven't had a day off in weeks and haven't had time to recover. Even now I feel like shit and a half.

Don't be sorry; you're not obligated to entertain us, and not everybody can come up with posts every day. OTOH, it sounds like you may be coming down with something nasty, and stress and overwork will only make it worse. Take it easy, get some rest, go to the doctor if you need to.

If they had tried that shit where I live they could have been killed. How did they know he didn't have a gun ? He could have called someone to come do his dirty work, too. Some people these days are raging psychopaths. This is why I avoid confrontation as much as possible.

If that guy had gotten their tag number, he could have reported them to the police for assault. One woman in Virginia was arrested for throwing a drink at another car.
