Oh, if only I had been the customer in line just ahead of her...even 10 years ago. (20 years ago, I probably wouldn't have said anything.) I would have started in on her the minute she started crowding her crap onto the counter before I was done with my transaction (especially if she was invading my personal space in any other way). I tend to be a very kind and easygoing person, but lately it's given me great pleasure (maybe too great?? ) to take SCs to task when I'm a fellow customer. Maybe the employees can't say anything, but I sure can...

First: A hug & a recommendation that you get a decent pay raise.

Last: I'd never get tired of telling/shouting/banging on the counter what a rude, condescending assmonkey this bitch was.
Has she NO IDEA that you know where she works?

(Me thinks next time I'm over, I take a wee side trip to where she is employed...*BFEG*)

Nope, wouldn't of helped her. Oh. My. God.

        That's insane.

The moment she slapped my hand, I would have told her to get the hell out. If I ever become a manager, I will never, ever let anyone treat my employees like that.

Holy **** well done you for not snapping it her. I think if I'd had a customer that bad I would have either flipped or cried. I have a lot of respect for you.

IF she had slapped me like that I would have stopped what I was doing, whipped out my cell phone, called the cops & had her charged with assault. I'm soooo glad I don't work for retail anymore.

I would have snapped on this one.
Yep, the minute she slapped my hand away, that would've been it. I understand why you didn't, but I don't think I'd have had that much restraint. I definitely wouldn't now. Management would get a call and be "asked" to deal with her as I would flat-out refuse to do so.

I don't believe "woman" is an accurate description of the lifeform being discussed. Kudos to the OP for not snapping at it.

                      Wow....

That was actually painful to read. This bitch sounds like she just wanted to make this the most painful, and difficult transaction in the world. She reminds me of an extreme version of Angelica from the Rugrats. The fact that you kept your cool throughout the whole transaction is admirable.

Shame some of your coworkers got fired for not putting up with her bullshit.

Oh my God.. how you kept your cool with that 'thing' I will never understand, Good on you, I could never!

I would have picked up each item and with a big cheesy smile and sickly sweet tone asked 'is this yours?' 'and is this yours?' 'how about this?' 'did you want this?'

and if she wanted me to go slow I would have gone slooooooooooow! But I'm part devil!

Who's next in line? Let's get a good look at you.

Describing her looks is difficult. I don't think there was an ounce of carbon-based material in sight. It looked like she had a face lift with tear-duct removal, bleached white hair, failed attempts at wrinkle removal and boobs that looked as fake as Barbie, and she could have possibly been Snooki's mother judging by the spray tan all over her. She had the most slutty-looking painted nails, and her figure would make Kiera Knightly say, "Man, lady, you gotta get some fat on you before you die of malnutrition. I hope the doctor could give you back some of the fat from your last liposuction." I'd say her true age was probably 45, but she obviously did everything medically possible to look 25, but instead it made her look 65. She could be the poster child for anyone mistakenly thinking of getting cosmetic surgery to "look better" because she was the ugliest cosmetic surgery patient I had ever seen.
I'll see your cosmetic patient and raise you the Bride of Wildenstein. Most of those are untouched and she chose to look like that.

I gotta go with the others. Female, male, handicapped and on a ventilator, you slap my hand like that and you will be in pain and screaming in a heap on the floor in 3-2-1.
