I always thank cashiers who ask for my ID, personally. Mildly curious how easy it'd be to fight a charge that was placed by someone else, since you didn't personally place it.
it's a pain in the arse. Cuz banks assume you did it when you card is able to be swiped. Thus why PIN numbers on even Credit Cards is so prevalent these days.
