    I love when we can bring some good pwnage on scammers.

    we get a phone call literally 1 minute to close (ie. 12:59am as we close at 1a.. NOTE this time will be important later). thankfully THIS call was not an order but but a complaint and turned out to be a fun one.

    I answer the phone with our standard greeting. the caller wants to speak with a manager about a mistake on their carryout order. they alledgely ordered a large pan style all meat pizza but the received a large midrage crust with only pepperonia and suasage. I grab the MOD, hand him the phone and move away to do some of my closing stuff. but I stay close I had a feeling this was, for some reason, going to get interesting.

    I see the MOD flipping through the days orders. he stops at a particular order. I sneek a look and see yes it was for a large pan all meat pizza with no special instructions. then I notice the pickup TIME of the order. 11:45am yes you read that right. an order that was picked up near NOON is just now
    "calling in" to make a complaint 13 HOURS later.

    OK this is goind to be good. the MOD talks with her for a minute and hangs up. NOW it get EVEN better. he says the woman claims that: FIRST the order was wrong and SECOND she can not eat peppornia.

    FAIL. our all meat pizza is made with pepperonia (and remember the ticket did NOT have any special instructions on it such as NO pepperonia).

    when the MOD informed the Sucstomer of this,the phone went <CLICK>

    SORRY no free stuff for you. nice try but no consolation prize or parting gifts for you today.

    Good on your MOD! Although I have to admit I'm mildly surprised they didn't roll over. Don't your managers always give in regardless of how ridiculous the demand?

      Hey, it could be worse -- at DaddyJim's, it was mot unheard of for certain repeat customers scammers to try and complain about stuff they had ordered TWO WEEKS before...>_> 24 hours mayyyybe I would believe them. 2 hours *with the pizza barely even touched*, I'd even back them up on it. But 2 weeks...? Uh-uh. Naturally, the more persistent ones went to Corporate for their "stop bothering us" free cards. x.x
