So, I worked in the past for a local equivelant of the american 411 service. Unlike 411, we also provided mobile map links, on the phone route directions, and any and everything that the customers would ask that was reasonably easy to find via the internet.
A customers calls in, askin for a person with a name of " something mostpopular". Does he know the address? does he know the city, even? No way. Are they angry, when I only can tell him we have more than 2500 people with that name in the database? You bet.
Story the second.
I like our service, that we can direct a caller from point a to point be via the phone. What i dont like, that always seems to happen, is people do not understand that there is a certain lag between them askin directions, me confirming addresses, loading up the web page, and relaying the information to them.
So what happens is, the usual response is: " oh, i already passed that intersection, what do i do now??"
Story the third.
I , being a male, do not envy the females who are my colleagues. I have gotten my fair share of drunken and not so drunken propositions for adult activity: and what i have heard from my female colleagues: it is soo much worse... Why do people think it is ok to ewwww people of by their propositions?
