Ugh, I feel you. I honestly think places like Walmart have ruined things for people that do handmade things like sewing or jewelry. People are like, but I can go get this at walmart for 5.00 why do you charge 50? Well probably because what you want is something no one else will have, materials cost me money, and you have to pay me for my time. This, this, a thousand times this. My husband has a lot of flaws but he's stood up for me to his family more than once (and usually I have no problem with them so it's rare, but it's happened). That is part of a good marriage...his responsibility is to you as his wife, his life partner, not to his grandmother.

no wife should have to put up with their in-laws critisism. hubby should put a stop to that pronto and if they dont stop then hubby needs to tell them that he will not be in contact with anyone who insults/critisises his family
