Today I had a guest and his rather young (about 7) son in one of the hot tubs. I informed said guest that everyone must be 16 to use the hot tubs.
His response: "I know, he's just warming up"
In what universe does being in there to warm up not count as him being in there? I mean really, most people at least have the decency to lie to me and say they didn't know about the rule. Also keep in mind that our indoor pool is 84*F, not exactly chilly, he shouldn't need to warm up, and he certainly doesn't need to warm up in the 102*F hot tub.
I did put on my concerned voice and offer to get him extra towels so that he could bundle up if he was cold but of course he just jumped right into the pool
