To the OP, your manager is da man. I think it does help me that I don't have to deal with customers in person, but every once in a while I will get abused like that over the phone and I might be able to take a short break to calm down but then it's back to the phones. Bleh...

Oh yeah, and I'm also tired of people telling me that because they weren't told they COULDN'T do something that means they have the inalienable right to do that very thing. Uh, no...and most of the time you just didn't read the rules in the first place.

I do, Nemesis, and we have one of those signs displayed prominently at the front of the store (seriously, it's impossible to miss) but jackasses like him still give us a hard time anyway .

Luck - I am very sorry you had to go through that. Fortunately, I have never had an SC like that in my 20 odd years in customer service. I have had people abusing me over the phone, but nothing where someone gets up in my face.

It was actually the other way round, Real.
Luck's store had them on sale (Buy one, get one half price, I believe) while the store they had been bought at did not. Hence why Luck originally sent him back to the other store, so he could get the full return value on them...
