not my own story since I'm being cross trained in another department, but i was listening to a call of one of the more seasone agents.
I only heard half the convo....
so apperently this lady wanted to make a payment since it was due in 2 days. When the agent informed her of the $15 fee she apperent went ballistic, he even offered to cut the fee in half, but that still was not good enough for her, and DEMANDED the mailing address to mail in her check.
fee to have the payment made today: $15
fee for late payment: $48.64
yes....she won a MASSIVE battle!
