SC1: I need to know what library is close to me. I live off of X and Y.
me: You live next to the Z library. Today it opens at 1.
SC1: what time it opens?

SC2: I have problems getting an interlibrary loan.
me: all right, what is you library card no?
SC2: wait a moment, I have to get it.
me: you are not ready? I'm going to put you on hold.
2 min. latter, after feeding my pigs on a farm game, I get back on the phone
me: you ready?
sc2: *sounds of papers being moved around* yes, my number is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
me: ok did you get an email or letter?
sc2: I don't have email.
me: did you get a letter?
sc2: I don't have email.
me: I asked if you got a letter, you know, you go out of the house and walk to the mailbox and see if the mailman left you anything.
sc2: no I didn't get a letter.
me: was it something you just ordered?
sc2: I went to the library and I tried to find this but I couldn't find it.
me: what is the item?
sc2: item? I went to the library and typed this in the catalog and didn't find it.
me: what was the title.
sc2: what do you mean, item?
me: was it a book, a dvd?
sc2: I think it was a dvd.
me: what was the title.
sc2: Supreme Circus Fun
me: *checks catalog and worldcat-worldcat beign a catalog that checks all libraries in the world, though really just give us info of libraries that will deal with us, so just because I don't find it doesn't mean it's not in a library, just it appears only if the library deals with us* sorry, no library in our system or in the world has it.
sc2: did you check the world wide library?
me: yes.
sc2: the next book is a Royal Coupling history of the Marriage of Barnum and Bailey
me: *checks* sorry, no library has it.
sc2: I got it before.
me: well, no library has it now. It could have been lost or stolen.
sc2: I got it before, through the world wide library.
me: OK, for example, our library had a book by Stephen King, Wizards and Glass. And we no longer have it. That's the same thing with A Royal Coupling, no library has it now. Now if you have another item you want, just call back.
