I know we've complained a lot about secret shoppers, so I got to thinking...how great would it be if we could "secret shop" the customer? If their score was under 80% they'd receive a "letter of concern" basically telling them to get their act together or else they'll be banned from the store!
My little checklist would lok something like this:
1. Did customer respond positively when greeted by employee?
2. Did customer smile throughout transaction?
3. Was customer's appearance neat and tidy?
4. Did customer smell okay?
5. Were customer's requests reasonable and compliant with store policy?
6. Did customer have kids with them? If so, were they well behaved?
7. Were customer's coupons/store flyers current and for this store?
8. Did customer attempt to shoplift anything?
9. Was the customer on their cell phone at any time during transaction?
10. Did customer complete transaction in under two minutes?
These are of the top of my head; feel free to add your own!
