  • Oh, she's schizophrenic

This is the woman I had problems with,2-year old in a 20 year old body.

I find out she has a lot of problems.

Yesterday, she goes into a "staff only" area, looking for "Amber". Now I think there was an Amber who worked here or maybe in another library. But his SC scared some cws since she went into a staff only are.

Also yesterday, it seemed she tried to get into a mechanical room. Then a cw was in the Kids room, and cw was scheduled to be by herself. But Chief, the assistant, some other librarians where hanging around in there. Seemed they were watching the sc, who at some point before came in to save the children because the children were screaming in terror.

Today again she goes into a "staff only" area, so security is looking for her. Security and the cop finds her outside and get her inside but she points to a male friend, says, "he has my paperwork" and she leaves. Security tries to stop her (well, they can only say, "stop," they can't touch her) but the cop does nothing.

Cw says she might be banned because she tries to get into the mechanical room.
Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

    I wish porn had subtitles.

I hope she does. It's not her fault she's mentally ill, but we can't have her causing all this trouble.

Strange, if someone is usually that bad they have a carer somewhere unless this is a recent increase in odd behaviour. I wonder if someone could do a welfare check on her. Don't want her to get hurt with her explorings.

Unfortunately, a lot of places don't provide enough resources for mental health - either in providing carers, or in screening for people who need caring for.

I'll stop right here lest this become Fratching territory. I just wanted to provide an explanation for why she might not have one.
        Seshat's self-help guide:
        1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
        2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
        3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
        4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.

So true. And I'll stop there too. Just agreeing.

Alas, you might think that would be the case, but there are a distressing number of such people left to their own devices, many of whom are also homeless.
