So the Mrs. and I can't decide on dinner last night. We decide to go online to the Hut of Pizzas and get a couple of large ones and some wings. We usually get a cheese one for the kiddo, and one with toppings for us.
Anyway, it takes about 45 minutes or so for the pizzas & wings to arrive...and one of the pizzas is wrong.
So I call them up and politely explain the situation. We'd ordered a pizza with Pepperoni, Mushrooms, and Italian Sausage toppings, but we were delivered one with Ham, Jalapenos, and Mushroom toppings. Everything else about our order was correct.
The lady was very understanding. Roughly 45 minutes later, the other pizza arrives. I asked them if they needed the original wrong pizza, and they said no (I'm assuming they would have just trashed it anyway). The pizza wasn't exactly hot when we got it (nor was it cut well), but they did pull through for us.
I understood the time delay, too. The NCAA Football National Championship game was on television Monday Night, and I assume a lot of other people were ordering pizzas as well.
