Finally - an express lane that means it

Was shopping at Real Canadian Superstore earlier tonight, and got in the line for the express lane (1-12 items, I had 6). A couple spots ahead of me was someone with a full cart. When the cashier noticed this, she told him that this lane was for up to 12 items, and that he needed to use a regular register. If only they could do something about outdated items in the dairy case...
