Ok, last night we went to a local Mexican restaurant. We got a kid's menu for our kiddo, and they gave us one -- without crayons. We asked for the crayons, and they told us that they'd run out of them. The waiter asked if it was OK if he brought us a marker instead. We said OK.
It was a small gesture, but you know, it was something we appreciated.
So when it came time for the check, I think the price was right around $30. I tipped the guy $10. 30% or so...
Forgot to get his name. I should have mentioned him to the manager, because he did good.
