Our business had to replace every part and make several out of town service calls before isolating the problems that one of our customers was experiencing with their computer. Of course we didn't charge anything because we felt bad that they were having all sorts of problems with the new computer that we had just sold them. It turns out that they needed an operating system upgrade, one which they had opted out of when they bought the machine in order to save money. We're still not entirely certain to this day but we believe that the mobo was not entirely compatible with the older version of Windows they were using; possibly ghosts in the machine. The issues became resolved. About a month after the repair, we received a thank-you card in the mail expressing their appreciation for our companys' efforts and fine service. In the card was a cheque for $100. It feels pretty good to be appreciated.
