Boss lady kicks more butt!

SOooooooo, I took alook at my paycheck. After a few months, workers get a yearly raise. Usually its about 5 cents. Ten cents if your good. Now, HAD my job paid up with minimual wage, (I E, if it went up, I get a increase, rather then since I'm over it already, tough luck). It usualyl meant new hires would usually catch up with me rather quickly. So my boss talked up as far as she could to get me a good raise.

So plaidman, went from 8.65, to Dun dun DUHHHHHH!!! NINE dollars an HOUR!

I mean yeah, it aint much, but it a .35 cent increase, means an 38 dollars a paycheck! ( Bi weekly, I normally get about 10 hours overtime).

So yay for boss!

Not too bad. That's almost an extra grand a year. But I'm giving you the credit along with your boss. You get it for being worthy of the raise and the boss for recognizing it.

yah not bad at all, it would be nice to get anything at all. apparently i dont get to have a raise cause i make commission.

when i worked before with a regularly hourly wage i would get a .50 raise every so often, but then they stopped giving me anything at all and eventually ended up giving me hour cuts as well as wage cuts. when i left there i found out that i was slotted for another pay cut. not becuase i was a bad employee but because the program that i worked for (drug and alcohol rehab which was state funded) was getting their budget cut on a regular basis.

they about cried when i left, i had told them to prepare for it, to learn how to do their own filing (which was not in my job desciption till they got lazy) but no they didnt and they about freaked out when they had an audit, too bad for them the program secertary (pretty much between me and her if we were both gone the place would fall apart) had been in a severe car accident the day after i had to go on my own medical leave. they kept calling us crying as we were trying to recover from our respective injurys, the secretary would call me and laugh along with me saying, you told them so didnt you. i said yes i did, and they were gonna give me a pay cut.
