  • I can't believe I didn't post about this guy

    Hey.

Guy rings in many many months ago.

He gives me a bit of a sob story - his life has gone crap. IIRC, his wife had left him, his business is going down hill, he's losing money, he owes money.

He gets me, and asks about his account. It's negative (it's supposed to run in advance), and has been suspended. He's gonna get bills.

He rings some months later. Gets me again. I recall him from his story, and cos of the notes I put on his account.

AFAIK, his wife is still gone and business is dead (he didn't mention any of his stuff this time - just keeps it simple and straight).

He admits to having just ignored everything as a coping mechanism.

He's now more seriously in debt, has over $1500 in fines, plus more on the way, and his account is more seriously in negative.

His response..."ok.. just tell me what I have to pay to clear everything up".

No whingey whiney rant. No complaining.

    Total acceptance of responsibility.

Even the fines were..'ok'... not great, but he accepts them, and accepts that nothing can really be done about them either!

Mate... I salute you for you massive amount of responsibility!

(and I have to cop whingey whiney crappy asshats cos they have to pay an extra $10 in admin fees... once!)

I gotta him too. People who don't blame others, accept their responsibilities and man/woman up are an uncommon thing these days.
