She wasn't MY coworker, but she definitely deserves praise.
Me and my dad went out to a local wing place around 9pm last night. I was afraid that they were closing early since it's Sunday, and I HATE going into restaurants right before they close. Turns out they close at 10, so I didn't feel as bad.
Well, we ended up getting the BBQ ribs, so it takes some times... and we didn't get out of there until about 10:10. We were the last ones out (we didn't slow them down though, they had to clean up the back party room anyway, so that took them some time to do.)
I just wanted to say thank you to the waitress, you were PERFECT. You did exactly what I expect, and want from a server.
You kept my drink filled, you brought us the food quickly, which surprised me, I would have figured that 2 full-rack of ribs would take longer than that.
She actually had the cooks make NEW steak fries for my dad's order because the ones that they already had we're cold and stale. (She didn't even bring the old ones out to us, she just took the initiative and had new ones made for us
)

She didn't rush us at all, only had to check on us twice during the whole thing, once of which was to refill our drinks. Which is nice, cause I hate when servers hound you every 5 minutes
We left her a nice tip too. The total came out to about $35. We tipped her 20% off of the $35, but then we also had a $5 off coupon on top of that. So she got to keep that too.
She was pretty cute too... which is always a bonus
I love when you get good service like that, nice, simple, very helpful. It's makes you wonder why all servers can't be like that. Especially since we never really require much effort to take care of either.
