Ok...I was chatting with my boss after my shift changed when a woman walked up and ordered a specialty cookie. Total cost was $1.35, but she didn't have cash and didn't want to use credit for such a small amount so instead she gave my boss two concert tickets for a Linkin Park show that was at 8 that night.
My boss was confused as to why someone would give two tickets, with a combined value of $80 for one little chocolate chunk cookie, but he accepted. Well, after a few moments of gushing about how cool the show would be, he realized that he was working the closing shift and he couldn't go. So he gave me the tickets.
I just got back from the concert so THANK YOU to my awesome boss and the random lady from the ticket office who was giving out tickets in exchange for good!
