I just got off the phone with a telemarketer. Previously I'd have yelled at them or made some stupid joke or strung them along to waste time, but after reading the call center stories on here, it went like this:
caller: "This is [name] from [wherever], we're selling raffle tickets."
me: "No thanks, we're not interested."
caller: "OK thank you for your time."
me: "Bye." (hangs up)
If it wasn't for the call center people on here, it wouldn't have been as civil.
