  • The coolest kids ever (a little long)

This happened about 3 years ago, but I as just thinking about it the other day...

I used to work in a watch shop. It was an interesting job, and oh, the tales I could tell.....here's a good one.

Let me start off by saying I am usually not fond of children (my cousins aside, but they are brillant sweet kids), but these two girls were amazing. I'd say they were 12 and 8, around there, and came in with their mother to get some fun things.

They were super polite, saying "please" "thank-you" and just so exited to see the different styles we had, I actually had a lot of fun helping them. Then the mother realized she had left something in the other store, and asked me if she could just pop out to get and leave her girls. No worries, we were having fun!

The younger one then became so animated, she had seen a watch with a bee on it. "I want that one, please, my name is Bea!" Cute.

When the mother came back and bought the watches, I commented on how I've been in retail several years, and that her girls where nicest kids I ever helped out, and had fun with them...it was a busy day, and I needed it. The mother beamed, told her daughters this, and in unison, "Thank you!!"

    Was pretty cool

The mother was probably glad her kids had made such a good impression. Usually good manners are overlooked, just like bad ones are.

Kudos to their mother for teaching them to be so polite, and kudos to the girls for learning so well.
