A Customer who understands????

Last night I get a page to the Milk Doors. When I arrive there is a woman customer who wants to know if we have any more of the "Pumpkin Pie Flavored Coffeemate" I tell her we are out of that item, BUT we do have the pumpkin pie flavored milk in if that would do. She doesnt think so and asks if we are going to get more in of the Coffeemate.

I explain to her because it is a "Seasonal Item" we dont have the order numbers readily available (aside: what happens is we get an email with the info, and someone usually uses the back of it for something else and it gets thrown away, didn't tell her that) BUT it should be available through Thanksgiving at the least, and I also mentioned that I talked with somone from Coffeemate/Nestle about a week ago, as she was checking to see if we had the Seasonal flavors up yet, and she assured me that she would make sure we got more of the seasonals in, BUT I could not be sure exactly when they would arrive.

And then she did something strange. She smiled at me, Thanked me for the information, and said she would check back another time to see if we had gotten it in yet.

What no whining? no Wheedling? no "so exactly when are you going to get it in?" no "but I need it NOW!"

Kidding! I was there last night to have dinner with him, but yeah, apparently the seasonal stuff seems to bring the worst out of some people.
